Not often seen above ground these are generally located under rotting logs in the wild if you are trying to copy their environment.
These Ants suck the blood from their Larva for Adult ant Nourishment.
Development of the colony is slow compared to other ants and they do sting so be careful with these.
Feed small meal worms in younger colonies.
