This nest has a unique function it has a middle pane that can be selected for either small or medium size Ants. For small ants select to have the middle pane with the nest divider which splits the nest into 2 sections with 6mm of colony space on each side. If you are putting larger ants in there ask for the standard divider which will give you 15mm of middle nest space
